Get ready for a huge weekend of riding, racing, and good times at Gravity Jam (formerly known as Enduro Jam).
We’re mixing things up this year with some exciting updates, including ALL-DAY Uplifts for Open and Pro categories across the entire weekend! PLUS the introduction of the Queen Stage on Friday afternoon to kick off the weekend!
This is a race weekend where everyone rolls in, from seasoned senders to fresh faces. In true tradition, rather than a “one-and-done” race run, Gravity Jam gives riders unlimited opportunities to set a race time or ride party trains with mates on Victoria’s best trails. An epic long weekend with camaraderie over stopwatches!
Open, Pro, Electric, Sample & Taster categories – each with handpicked stages built to test the best, build confidence, and keep the stoke high. No matter your level, there’s a stage with your name on it.
PRO TO ADVANCED RACERS
RACING FOR ALL LEVELS
PRO JAM (includes Queen Stage on Friday)
The Pro Jam is aimed at more experienced racers, riding primarily black and double black trails. All 4 stages over the weekend will be Pro Jam only trails with full day laps pushing pro riders to their limits. Pro Jam racers must be comfortable riding the most challenging trails at Mystic Bike Park.
OPEN JAM (includes Queen Stage on Friday)
The Open Jam is our most popular class for all racers intermediate and above. The stages will be comprised of blue and black trails, mixing in flow to test the limits of a rider’s abilities. This year we are excited to bring full day of laps for all Open Jam racers – giving you the opportunity to cut laps all day and set your fastest time over the weekend.
BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE RACERS
RIDING FOR ALL LEVELS
SAMPLE JAM
The Sample Jam is the perfect intro to racing designed for kids and intermediate riders. With 2 stages over just 1 day of racing, the racecourse will feature our most fun blue flow trails. Allowing riders to get a taste of racing in a fun, low-pressure environment. Parents wishing to chaperone their children will be required to register a race entry of their own in the Sample Jam so numbers can be managed.
TASTER JAM
The Taster Jam is designed for young children (no min. age restrictions), and those new to the sport wanting to give racing a go! Using the lower section of our beginner green trails, the Taster Jam is only 3hrs of riding/racing, making it the perfect first race. Parents wishing to chaperone their children will be required to register a race entry of their own in the Taster Jam so numbers can be managed.
ELECTRIC BIKES
Electric Jam is an eMTB specific event, where riders will earn their turns for two days of epic jam-format racing! Electric Jam will utilise our Open Jam course and timing is open for the full day (course release coming soon!). Note that this event is designed for riders to climb between stages (no shuttles are included).

After racing wraps up for the day, join us at the bottom of Shred Kelly’s to witness some of the best whips and tricks. This event is simple, those who get the most sideways – WIN!

QUEEN STAGES
Introducing the all-new Queen Stage for 2027.
Raced on Friday, March 12, this single-run showdown kicks off Gravity Jam weekend in style. Lay down your fastest run and battle it out on the Queen Stage before the main event weekend begins.
But here’s the twist: all Queen Stage race time gaps are DOUBLED – meaning every second gained or lost counts twice.
This isn’t just an extra stage… it’s a game changer and a critical part of the overall race for Open & Pro Jam category only.

Gravity Jam is not just for the riders. Spectators are welcome to join us for the duration of the event to check out some of Bright’s best food and beverage offerings, as well as the latest and greatest from our MTB event expo. Spectators can walk or ride into the trail network.

No great event happens without the support of a dedicated volunteer team! As a token of our appreciation, volunteers will receive uplift vouchers and enjoy a free lunch for their contributions.

We’ll have our custom fleet of Giant Hire bikes available, from Downhill rigs, Enduro Bikes, to EBikes and Kids Bikes. Book in early to avoid missing out!

ALL THE TOOLS
Mystic Bike Park operates a convenient Workshop for all your quick fixes – no need to dash back into town. Our professional and friendly mechanics are on hand to get your bike running smoothly and back on the trails in no time. We also have bike parts to get you back on the trails from our park partners.

What is the course?
The course is being released soon!
Can I ride at any time during the event?
Open, Pro Jam riders can now access full-day uplifts, with race runs open from morning through to the afternoon. Electric Jam (eMTB category) can ride all-day with timing open for the full-day! Schedule coming soon!
Are Mountain passes included with Race entry?
Mountain Passes are NOT included with Race Entry and need to be purchased separately. If you already have an Elevation Club Membership you do not need to purchase any additional Mountain passses – this pass represents the best value to access Mystic across the race weekend.
Which age category should I choose?
Riders are classified by the age they will be at the end of 31 December 2027.
Are Uplifts included with Electric Jam?
Uplifts are not included with eMTB categories and will be racing the Open Jam course – for a Full-Day! Course coming soon!
Can I ride an e-bike on Pro Jam or Open Jam?
If you intend on riding / racing an eMTB for the weekend you’ll need an entry to Electric Jam category and you’ll be racing on the Open Jam course for the full-day. With Electric Jam there are no Uplifts included and does not include entry/participation into Queen stages. Please contact us if you have any further questions.
My kids are under 16, can they ride on their own or do I have to ride with them?
Since this is a marshaled race event, kids under 16 can ride independently. Children under 11 may be accompanied or supervised by a parent. Parents can pedal up to the race trail and ride down with their child during their race times.
Where can I see my lap times for the weekend?
Live Timing will be available from the event weekend.
When do entries close?
Entries closing March 8 – but with limited tickets available best to get in early. Once they’re gone – they’re gone!
Are regular Uplifts running on Gravity Jam weekend?
Regular Uplifts will not be running on the weekend of March 13-14, as they are reserved for Gravity Jam participants. However, we’ve added extra Uplift capacity on Thursday and Friday in lead up to the event – perfect for exploring the park or fitting in some extra practice before race day! BOOK your extra uplifts here.
