Pro Patroller
The role of a Pro Patroller at Mystic Bike Park (Mystic) is to support riders and other visitors to have a safe and enjoyable experience.
The primary focus of this role is to provide First Aid and extrication support for day-to-day operations, as well as for events run within the facility. In addition, this role incorporates incident/accident preparedness, hazard identification, and assistance with hazard management.
A Pro Patroller is also involved as part of the broader Mystic team in the provision of an exceptional customer experience, and is expected to engage with guests in a confident, polite and genuine manner. A Pro Patroller has the opportunity to facilitate positive guest interactions across a broad range of experiences, including as part of incident response!
Minimum Qualifications
The following qualifications are required for this position:
- Wilderness First Aid or equivalent / higher i.e. ASPA, Bachelor or Nursing / Paramedicine
- Current Driver’s Licence (any State / Territory acceptable)
Physical Capabilities
The following physical capabilities are required for effective completion of the responsibilities of this position:
- An intermediate to advanced level of mountain bike skill, enabling comfortable access to all blue trails
- Sufficient fitness to enable walking over steep terrain, including carrying or managing heavy and/or awkward loads

Pro Patrol Team Leader
The Bike Patrol Team Leader is responsible for supporting the Safety Team Coordinator in managing the Bike Patrol team and maintaining the Safety Management System through implementation of the Safety Management Plan for Mystic Bike Park (Mystic).
The Bike Patrol Team Leader also has responsibilities as a Pro Patroller.
Minimum Qualifications
The following qualifications are required for this position:
- Wilderness First Aid or equivalent / higher i.e. ASPA, Bachelor or Nursing / Paramedicine (currency is preferred however there may be potential to refresh pre commencement)
- Current Driver’s Licence (any State / Territory acceptable)
Physical Capabilities
The following physical capabilities are required for effective completion of the responsibilities of this position:

Volunteer Patroller
The role of a Pro Patroller at Mystic Bike Park (Mystic) is to support riders and other visitors to have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Thank you for your interest in Mystic Bike Park (Mystic) and our Volunteer Patrol Program. Elevation Parks will take over operation of Mystic on 1 July 2024 and introduce a Bike Patrol team that incorporates a Volunteer Patrol Program. This program is designed to be a supportive environment for learning about prehospital response to trauma, while creating a training ground for our future Pro Patrollers.
The role of a Volunteer Patroller at Mystic is to support our Pro Patrollers in providing a high level of First Aid and extrication support to injured riders at our facility. This includes supporting day-to-day operations, as well as events. In addition, the role requires customer interaction, joining our larger team in provision of a positive experience for all our riders and guests.
This is an opportunity for development, and, depending on your interest and previous experience, the focus of your training can vary, from the clinical aspect of the role, to equipment and extrication of injured riders, and even to hazard identification and management within the park (think chainsaws!).

Uplift Bus Driver
Employment Type – Casual
Our Uplift bus drivers are a critical part of the Mystic Bike Park team. Responsible for getting riders to the trails safely, our Uplift driver team have the most contact with our guests throughout the day. We are looking for fun, responsible drivers who enjoy getting to know new people. An interest in mountain biking and outdoor activities is an asset for this role. Drivers will typically drive a 12-14 seat bus, towing a trailer loaded with bicycles.
The Bus Driver role will include the following key tasks;
- Provide a check-in service for guests
- Drive buses to transport guests
- Follow traffic management plans and radio protocols
- The Bus Driver will report directly to the Operations Manager
Essential Requirements:
- Light Rigid Australian driver license
- Victorian or Tasmanian Public Passenger Vehicle license
- Working with Vulnerable People permit
Desirable requirements:
- Tourism experience
- Mountain bike experience
Administration Assistant
We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join our team. This role is projected as a part time role until approx. October 2024. We are running at reduced capacity in an operational scheme of things until this time. You will be expected to work from home. From October 2024, the role has potential to expand to full time, and your work location would change to our onsite Guest Services centre.
This is an administration assistant role, which will cover the following, non exhaustive list;
- Monitoring the company 1300 number. You will be expected to take calls whilst you are on shift. You will need to respond to customer questions/queries as you are able to. If something warrants further input, you will be required to take a message professionally and pass this on to the required person.
- Monitoring email addresses. It will be your responsibility to monitor email addresses during your shift. You will be required to respond as per company email policy, forward on any queries that you are not able to answer, and maintain the company email filing system.
- Generate the daily manifest from the our bookings system and pass this onto the Operations Coordinator on shift.
- Monitor bookings throughout your shift, contact bus drivers on shift if there are any last minute cancellations. At the end of your shift, send the Operations Coordinator the projected bookings for the next working day for forward planning.
- Utilise our bookings system to process any bookings or memberships received via phone.
- Collect, collate and upload any receipts and expenses to Dext Prepare.
You may be called upon to assist with other administrative tasks, as your workflow allows.

- Past experience in the mountain biking industry
- Passion for tourism in the Alpine Shire municipality
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with Rezdy booking system.
- Business management or project management qualifications
Essential attributes:
- Minimum 3 years in a previous customer service role
- Ability to work from home, professionally and uninterrupted
