Mystic Bike Park was originally built and maintained through the dedication of the Alpine Cycling Club and Alpine Community Plantation. Today, Elevation Parks has a team based on-site to carry out ongoing maintenance and enhance the safety and quality of the trail network. To carry the Mystic Legacy forward, Elevation Parks is now inviting volunteers to get involved in new trail development within Mystic Bike Park and surrounding areas.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
NOT JUST DIG DAYS
Whether you’re keen to help bring the Trail Master Plan to life, volunteering also offers the unique opportunity to take ownership and help shape a trail of your own, plus help upskill new and aspiring trail builders. If you’re keen on bringing new ideas to help contribute to the parks quality trail network or wish to participate in volunteer trail building, there are two ways in which you get get involved.
Supporting DECCA trail development
Help Mystic by supporting trail development and maintenance of key connections around Mystic Bike Park in parcels of land held by DECCA, this will include progressing discussions for a climbing trail behind the Mystic launch pad.
Volunteer Trail Building Program
This includes opportunities to
- submit new trails outside of the existing masterplan
- nominate particular trails on the master plan and support delivery of this trail with a volunteer team
- schedule volunteer dig days with free uplifts offered and special ride days with exclusive access to new trails
- with the support of Elevation Parks upskilling new and aspiring trail builders

For anyone undertaking volunteer work with Elevation Parks will be rewarded with free Uplifts and other perks only available to Volunteers.
