FAQ’s
Do I have to book in advance or can I just show up on the day?
Whilst not compulsory we highly recommend booking in advance to avoid missing out. As we cater our uplift to demand, even during off-peak periods we often sell out! A walk-in on-the-day booking fee of $5 also applies.
Can I climb up further from the Lower Mountain drop off area?
Our Lower Mountain Uplift drop off area is next to Stairway to Shreddin’ climbing trail so you have the freedom to climb up further to access more trails on the upper part of the mountain. These upper mountain trails are more advanced, with higher difficulty ratings. Riders should be confident on Blue and Black graded trails before riding up.
What time is the first and last uplift?
Lower Mountain Uplifts run from 11:00 am – 2.30pm on days our Uplift Service is operating. Check our operating days HERE.
How many riders does each vehicle take?
Each Lower Mountain Uplift vehicle is equipped to carry 4 passengers and 4 bikes – including both adult and kids’ bikes.
Can I drive my own Uplifts?
Our uplift road is leased to us by a private company and is used by a range of other road users. Our lease conditions mandate that there are strictly no private vehicles to use our uplift road.
Do I need to also have a Mountain Pass to ride on the Uplift?
No, your Lower Mountain Gravity Pass includes a 1-Day Mountain Pass for the inclusive day, so there’s no need to purchase an additional Mountain Pass for the day you are riding the Uplift. If you hold an Annual Mountain Pass, you will be given a discount promo code to use on future Uplift bookings.
